Tables have turned

I guess Pakistan can now demand to know what sections of the US government, military, CIA, FBI and other agencies provided the support network for Irish Mob boss Bulger, who apparently was hiding in plain sight in an apartment in one of America’s major cities….surely he could not have been there for 14 years without the Intelligence community knowing about it, much like Bin Laden in Abbottabad.
People often have an over dramatic sense of “hiding” and the “Underground”. Time and time again, we are shown that those hiding in the “caves” are in normal apartments.  Even Menachem Begin, over 50 years ago, shocked the world by announcing he ran the famous Underground (the Irgun’s Revolt against the British) from a Tel Aviv Apartment.
